Fred Palmer was born in Bristol in 1996 and raised in Wiltshire. 

​

He studied architecture at the University of Bath and The Centre for Alternative Technology. In 2023 he was awarded the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings Scholarship to travel the UK, studying and painting its old buildings. 

​

His work explores landscape, the changing seasons, place and colour. The paintings and drawings are an investigation into a particular place at a particular time. He has worked and exhibited in the UK and Spain.
